We work collaboratively, maintaining constant communication across our mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams, as well as with architects, structural, and civil partners. This integrated approach ensures our designs align with the project's vision and budget throughout. The Project Manager oversees the process from concept to construction, maintaining communication across all disciplines to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Our principals in MEP and fire protection bring over 30 years of experience combining design expertise with practical, hands-on knowledge. This allows us not only to deliver technically sound and code-compliant solutions but also to provide innovative, out-of-the-box ideas. We focus on simplicity where appropriate, optimizing construction costs while ensuring the design fully respects the project's intent and aesthetic features.
Dhiren is the founding principal of SAI Engineers, bringing a wealth of experience from across the construction industry. His diverse background enables him to approach projects with fresh perspectives and offer creative design alternatives during the early phases.
At his core, Dhiren is an engineer—a problem solver—who collaborates closely with all disciplines to deliver the most sustainable and cost-effective MEP systems for each project. He believes in dedicating time to truly understand each client’s needs, ensuring that his design approach aligns with their goals. His commitment not only ensures the project meets client requirements but also exceeds expectations.
Dhiren holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career in the construction industry soon after. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Mechanical discipline. Over the course of his career, Dhiren has gained extensive experience across a diverse range of projects, from small residential developments to high-end residential homes with indoor pools, large-scale commercial ventures. His portfolio includes educational facilities, libraries, core and shell buildings, tenant fit-outs, multi-family residential projects, restaurants, mixed-use developments, hospitality building and architecturally distinctive commercial buildings. Dhiren’s experience also includes government and public safety buildings, such as fire stations and police stations.
With multidisciplinary expertise, he brings a well-coordinated design approach, broad technical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
